Steve & Jan Anniversary Shoot

When I received the phone call from Steve wanting to book a photo shoot for his and Jan’s wedding anniversary and potentially a few photos with their cats, I jumped at the chance. Being a cat lover I was eager to meet not only Steve and Jan but also their beautiful Maine Coon Kitties!

Upon arrival at Steve & Jan’s place I was greeted by the cats too! One of them took an extra liking to me…I am assuming she could smell ‘cat’ off of me! Being owned by a cat myself, I know how difficult it can be taking photos of the little darlings! They don’t exactly listen to instructions like Dogs do…..(if only hey!), but a few cat treats later these two beauties were in the mood for a photo or two!

I noticed a poster of Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz up on the wall, and I immediately decided I wanted to ask Steve and Jan to do the same pose! Admittedly I wasn’t too sure who they were but the iconic poster looked familiar ….Steve and Jan explained, and I later went home and watched an episode of ‘I love Lucy’ on You Tube….I actually ended up watching two episodes as I really enjoyed them!

I found that I shared a lot of similar interests with Steve & Jan including our love for cats, travel, especially in the USA and of course, cars! I felt like I could have sat and chatted to them all day!
