I don’t think I could ever get bored of Paris.  I love the coffee shops and patisseries.  The pan au chocolat is just melt in the mouth! Amit and I knew what we were having for breakfast for the next few days!

We had already decided before we got to Paris that we would head to the Notre-Dame Cathedral on Sunday morning for the Easter Service.  Being early birds we got there bright and early and there was a queue of about 10 people, we moved along into the cathedral within 5 minutes.  I couldn’t believe our luck.

The cathedral was full with most seats taken.  We had been inside before but this time it was different, there was a real feeling of thinking about what Easter was all about….not just chocolate eggs!  The service was beautiful, the surroundings so picturesque, I couldn’t help but document the moment with my camera. There was no flash photography allowed so I upped the ISO and went for it!

When we came out of the cathedral the area was buzzing with visitors and a very long queue with estimates of at least an hours wait!  Getting up early was definitely worth it!

Other attractions visited included the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, walking the Champs Elysees and spotting a Louis Vuitton Trunk with my initials on it! Amits initials too, as he rightly pointed out….I saw my chance and told him we needed to purchase it as it was made for us…..as expected, he didn’t agree.

This was not our first visit to the city of love and I doubt very much that it will be our last.
